Foreclosure Search - A Foreclosure Search produces a report showing any properties that have a notice of foreclosure (lis pendens notice) posted against them. This search can be targeted against a specific location (i.e. city, zip code or county) and can be limited to certain date ranges. The report generated under this search displays a list of records containing the owner’s name, property address, telephone number (if available), date the notice of foreclosure was filed, foreclosure case number and the name of the plaintiff in the case. This search will only indicate that a foreclosure proceeding has been filed against a property and does not indicate the status of the case against the property.
